Olympian Greg’s girl won’t leap into marriage
THEY already have one child together, with another on the way.
But Greg Rutherford and his pregnant girlfriend won’t be getting married any time soon – because they don’t want ‘a lifetime of misery and s*** sex’.
The startling admission was made by the Olympic long jumper’s partner Susie Verrill in an extremely frank series of online videos.
Appearing in the clips on photosharing site Instagram, the 29year-old blogger also told how she had previously had relationships with two England rugby players, joking: ‘What can I say, I like sportsmen.’
Miss Verrill made the admissions in response to comments made on an online article about her, one of which read ‘Where’s the ring Greg?’. Pointing to her hand, she said: ‘Not here. We’re not going to get married because we don’t fancy a lifetime of misery and s*** sex.’
Discussing her partners prior to her relationship of several years with Rutherford, 30, she said: ‘I have had sex with two England rugby players. One was retired. What can I say, I like sportsmen. Big surprise, woman has sex and has a type.’
Miss Verrill and Rutherford met in 2012, and have a two-year-old son called Milo.
The youngster made an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing last year when his record-holder father was one of the contestants in the popular show.
