Veteran cricket commentator Henry Blofeld, 77, dismisses the idea he needs cosmetic surgery to make him look younger — but admits there is one area of his anatomy that would benefit from a little rejuvenation.

‘I don’t need to be cleaned up as I’m a frightful old rogue,’ he jokes. ‘I think that the real me is the real me.’

thrice- wed Henry cheekily adds: ‘One of the great things that people spend their entire time doing is trying to make me look younger. I don’t want to look younger, I want to look as I do.

‘ I want to do something about what goes on a bit lower down. I would like that to be a bit younger.’
