BLIND in one eye and reliant on her walking stick, 73-yearold Sarah Freeman should be commended for her bravery in single-handedly preventing travellers from setting up camp in a Colchester beauty spot (Mail).

And don’t forget the heroics of the man who risked life and limb recording her ordeal on his mobile phone. God forbid he might have felt compelled to gallantly come to Miss Freeman’s aid and prevent her from having her false teeth knocked out.

During the assault, a crowd gathered, with many recording it on their mobiles, but no one helped this lady.
