FROM 1934 to 1968, the Hays Code decreed that Hollywood movies had to conform to a strict moral template, showing that crime must never pay. This interestin­g new film explores how stars worked around those limits.

GLAMOROUS MYSTERY Riviera, 9pm, Sky Atlantic

SKY’S new drama hops between yachts, auctions and lovely homes — at least, at first. Then, the well-to-do wife at its centre (Julia Stiles, pictured — largely carrying the acting) starts to learn what maintains it all, and a sense of danger bleeds into events. The whole series will be available on Sky On Demand and Now TV tonight.

IN THIS authentic-thtifeelin­gfli new series, specialist­s strip down and rebuild motorbikes, with an eye for speed and style. They’re based in the U.S., but in this first episode, they head to Stafford in the UK, where Mike Seate (pictured) is impressed by a rebuilt BSA Gold Star.
