Princesses always make an entrance
My house has got a fairy door, It’s tucked a bit away, It doesn’t have a knocker Or a number on display. The door is not the one you see When you come to call, But right down on the skirting board, In the inner hall. It isn’t very fancy, Not gold or sapphire blue, But here your dreams and wishes Are sure to all come true. Just close your eyes and make a wish And then, before you know, You will be a princess And the star of your very own show! And you will see a rainbow, With bubbles all around, And shout out in the loudest voice: ‘Look what I have found!’ I know you don’t believe me And you may mock and jeer, But it’s weird it only works when My granddaughter is here!
