BACK in the water — this time at a £21 million mansion in Miami which Sir Philip rented over Christmas for £17,000 a week. The whole family gathered here — the house is round the corner from Brett Palos, Lady Green’s son by her first marriage. Brett is a property developer, known for the rum episode in which his company, Thackeray Estates, bought the Ealing branch store from BHS a few days before the firm was sold by his stepfather. He sold it for a £3 million profit months later. Sir Philip, possibly mindful of the BHS backlash, has opted to give his usual break at Sandy Lane, Barbados, a miss this year.
