Anarchist Brand plans a very middle- class kitchen

RUSSELL BRAND called profit a ‘dirty word’, but he’s happy to spend his lucre adding value to his home with a new kitchen.

The class warrior is overhauling his £3.3 million riverside cottage near Henley by creating a knockthrough kitchen and dining room. Plans show he hopes to install a glazed roof above the space where he eats his organic breakfast, plus French windows with a ‘Gothic arch detail’.

He shares the Oxfordshire cottage with fiancee Laura Gallacher and their daughter, Mabel.
