5 WHO SHONE ON THE TOUR
CHARLIE EWELS
THE Bath man ran the line-out brilliantly in Argentina. He is only 21 with five caps but looks like another in the second row destined for great things. Playing in the same era as Maro Itoje, Joe Launchbury, Courtney Lawes and George Kruis is unlucky.
SAM UNDERHILL
WOULD have played both Tests if it was not for shoulder trouble, as it was he enjoyed a strong debut in Santa Fe. Built like Australian fetcher David Pocock.
TOM CURRY
HAS a teenager enjoyed a better Test debut? Defying logic at only 18 in San Juan last week, he won turnovers, carried well and tackled everything. Now 19 he is set for a super future in the back row. It will take him time to learn the brutality of Tests but he looks a real find.
PIERS FRANCIS
ELECTRIC runner who scored his first Test try in Santa Fe, with a marvellous support line off Mike Brown, the playmaker deepens England’s options at fly-half and centre.
MARK WILSON
THE happiest man in South America when picked for the first time last week. One of the good guys who should have had a shot at Test rugby earlier.
