MADONNA has reportedly tradedd in her boyfriend for an older version... but there’s still a 27-year age gap.
The 58-year-old singer, who has dated ed a series of men in their 20s, is said to be seeing a model aged 31.
She is understood to have ended her relationship of more than a year with Abouboubakar Soumahoro, 26. The new man in her life, Kevin Sampaio, has apparentlyntly impressed Madonna by keeping their friendship quiet and earning her trust.
She liked how he did not ‘go running to the press’ after their first date, a source said. The pair, who met in 2015 when she kissed him in her video for her single Bitch I’m Madonna, have been seen on a getaway in Lisbon as they get to know each other.
Mr Soumahoro had been living at Madon- na’s New York mansion for a year and was close to her six children. But the model, who comes from the Ivory Coast, wanted to take a more hands on role with parenting duties and it led to friction, it was reported.
Madonna’s custody battle over her eldest son Rocco, 16, added to the tensions. The singer has a long history of dating younger men. She began a relationship with 26-yearold dancer and choreographer Timor Steffens in 2014 and spent three years with dancer Brahim Zaibat, who was 23 when they met in 2010.
A spokesman for Madonna would only say ‘not true’ when asked about her new boyfriend. The singer has also reportedly paid £5million for a palace in Portugal. The property, in Sintra, will provide a family base while her adopted son David Banda, 11, tries for a place in the junior squad of football club Benfica. Built in 1865, the palace was once owned by a nobleman whose colourful life inspired Alexandre Dumas’s novel The Count Of Monte Cristo.
