Boarding was hell

I ADMIRE Judy Murray for admitting she made a terrible mistake sending her son Jamie to boarding school. I was sent to a boarding school at the age of four when my mother went to live abroad, and the memories still haunt me.

As a result, I have suffered all my life from depression.

I went through the usual childhood illnesses at the school in a dormitory with a nurse whom I hated.

There were no cuddles or toys for me.
