A new quick fix for eye wrinkles
WRINKLES making you look older than you feel? Puffy bags that you find difficult to disguise? Dark circles letting everybody know you’ve had no sleep? It doesn’t have to be this way.
Now there is a cosmetic, quickfix answer to wrinkles, bags and dark circles. A new eye cream can banish them in seconds — and even has the thumbs-up from the Advertising Standards Authority.
It recently ruled that the cream really does smooth out wrinkles around the eyes — although only temporarily.
Costing from £29.95 for 100 applications, it effectively creates a temporary see-through film that tightens the skin as it dries. The film then continues to work its magic for up to eight hours, giving a more youthful appearance while it lasts, with results starting in just 60 seconds. So you can appear to look years younger whenever you want.
The product is made by a British firm, which claims it is loved by A-list stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Brad Pitt and Juliette Binoche.
Before-and-after photos and time-lapse film of women on the company’s website show that their crow’s feet wrinkles decrease markedly, astounding them.
A leading UK dermatherapist, Dr Hugo Kitchen, says: ‘As a cosmetic doctor, I don’t think I’ve seen a cream that can achieve these kind of results! I’m really impressed.’ Mother-of-two Lorna Pountney, 41, says that as she approached 40, she began to notice she had dark circles and bags under her eyes. A friend recommended the cream.
Lorna, from Rugby, explains: ‘ There is a slight tingling sensation as it dries on your skin, but it is not at all uncomfortable. And within minutes, the dark circles disappear and the lines are much smoother.
