THE boss of retail payments firm PayPoint was paid £ 1.1m last year – a 23pc rise – after overseeing a profit surge.
Dominic Taylor, 59, took home a £500,000 salary and £78,000 towards his pension and bonuses worth £518,000. He also pocketed £25,000 of benefits such as a car allowance and health insurance.
Father-of-two Taylor spent 12 years as a submarine squadron training officer before moving into business, joining Vodafone in 1991 to help set up its German arm.
