So now, just months after her ex-husband filed for divorce, Kate Beckinsale is trying her luck with a man who is definitely more of a boyish type.
The 43-year-old British actress, who has an 18-year- old daughter, was snapped sharing a passionate kiss with 21-year-old US actor and comedian Matt Rife.
Rife could be seen holding Miss Beckinsale’s face as the pair enjoyed an intense embrace. The duo were also seen staring into each other’s eyes outside Villa Lounge in West hollywood on Tuesday night.
Despite the age gap, the pair, who are thought to have met through mutual friends, are apparently ‘officially boyfriend and girlfriend’ after months of dating. A source told entertainment Tonight: ‘They quickly started flirting, went on their first date and it’s continued since.’ They added: ‘everyone in Kate’s circle loves Matt and are so supportive of this relationship. he is very mature for his age.’ Fittingly, in her latest film The Only Living Boy in New York, her character seduces her lover’s young son. Miss Beckinsale, who is from London, was married to film director Len Wiseman for 11 years before they separated in 2015 and Wiseman filed for divorce in October 2016. She has one daughter, Lily, 18, from her eight-year relationship with actor Michael Sheen, 48. The Pearl harbour actress is the daughter of late Porridge star Richard Beckinsale. American Rife started per- forming stand-up at 15 and has appeared on US TV comedy Wild ’n’ Out. Miss Beckinsale’s representative had not responded to requests for comment last night.
