FRANCESCO BECCHETTI’S destructive three-year reign at Leyton Orient is finally over after a consortium led by Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins chief executive Nigel Travis completed its takeover yesterday. The National League club’s new chairman said: ‘I realised some time ago that someone needed to step up and get the club going in the right direction. I’ve supported Leyton Orient for 58 years. ‘I’ve seen all kinds of ups and downs. It’s been tough but the purpose of today is not to look back. We’re determined to make Leyton Orient the club it was, or what it should be.’
