BIG SCALP FOR CLARKE

JAY CLARKE is into the quarter-final of the Aegon Ilkley Trophy with the biggest win of his fledgling career. The 18-year-old from Derby beat eighth seed and former world No 49 Illya Marchenko 6-4, 7-6. Clarke will play the Wimbledon qualifying event next week. Marcus Willis could not join his fellow Brit in the last eight in Yorkshire, losing 5-7, 7-6, 6-3 to Australian Sam Groth.
