Get in line Andy, says champ Jamie

- KIERAN GILL reports from Queen’s Club

JAMIE MURRAY has told younger brother Andy he will have to wait his turn if he wants to team up at Wimbledon. After winning the Aegon Championships title with Bruno Soares at Queen’s Club yesterday, Jamie says he is more than happy with the Brazilian for the time being. The pair beat Frenchmen Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin 6-2, 6-3. ‘I’m not rushing to call Andy up and ask him when he wants to play,’ Jamie said with a smile. ‘I think one day we will probably try to play at Wimbledon. He’s always said he’d like to, but whether he follows through or not, I don’t know. ‘But yeah, for now I’m happy with my partner.’ The Scottish-Brazilian duo had to finish off their semi-final yesterday, too, after rain stopped play on Friday night. In the singles final, Feliciano Lopez saved a match point in a 4-6, 7-6, 7-6 win against world No 7 Marin Cilic. ‘I cannot believe I have finally won this tournament. I have wanted to win this for 15 or 16 years,’ said the 35-year-old Spaniard, the oldest Queen’s champion in the Open era.
