Crane flies high to help England win decider
SHEER joy is etched on the face of England’s young leg-spinner Mason Crane after he dismissed dangerman AB de Villiers as England beat South Africa in the Twenty20 decider. Crane, 20, had just been whacked for two sixes by De Villiers but kept his nerve to snare South Africa’s captain, caught by Alex Hales. Debutant Dawid Malan was star of the show with the bat, smashing 78 off just 44 balls as England reached 181 for eight. The South Africans fell 19 runs short.
