FRANK de Boer insists he does not view the Crystal Palace manager’s job as a springboard to Europe’s elite. But Palace chairman Steve Parish says he would welcome the problem of his losing his latest boss to a bigger club. Sacked by Inter Milan last year, De Boer (right) was yesterday installed on a three-year deal worth £2.5million a season. He admitted turning down Liverpool before Brendan Rodgers’ appointment in 2012 and was close to joining Everton last summer.
