I CAN’T help feeling there was something a trifle rum about Camden Council’s snap decision to evacuate several tower blocks with just an hour’s notice. It seemed more for the benefit of officials than the residents. It did, though, afford the council’s shiny new leader, Georgia Gould (right, daughter of the late labour peer Baron Gould), a chance to showcase her talents. The People’s Party, opportunistic? never!
