Female warder, 21, ‘kissed and groped prisoner in her cell’
A Female prison warder has been suspended amid allegations of lesbian trysts with a prisoner.
Faron Selvage is seven months pregnant by her boyfriend, it was revealed yesterday.
The 21-year-old is being investigated by police over claims she had an illicit relationship with an inmate last year.
miss Selvage had been put on light duties at HMP Send near Guildford, Surrey, but has now been suspended.
It follows claims to a newspaper by former inmate Sydnee offord, 29, that the prison officer ‘kissed and groped’ her in her cell.

ner, said that after she was released miss Selvage sent her raunchy selfies in an attempt to continue the relationship.
miss Selvage, from Longfield, Kent, and her boyfriend Kieron manning are understood to be staying together despite the allegations.
offord claims she and the officer met regularly in her cell.
‘Faron’s extremely pretty,’ she told The Sun. ‘one day I was sitting on my bed and she blurted out, “I’ve never felt anything like this towards a woman before”.’
miss Selvage began bringing chocolates and writing letters explaining how confused she was feeling, offord said.
‘on one visit she asked for a hug and I kissed her. The next time we kissed more passionately. It gave me a thrill because of the danger. But we held back because I knew we were on thin ice. I told her she could be jailed but she didn’t care.’
offord told the newspaper that she decided to end all contact after she was released. miss Selvage did not respond to requests for a comment.
The Prison Service said: ‘We take all allegations of inappropriate behaviour extremely seriously. The matter has been referred to the police for investigation.’
