Earn cash for spotting houses standing empty

-

EAGLE-EYED residents can earn thousands of pounds by spotting empty houses in their local area on behalf of property investors.

Corran Roberts, 26, recently made £6,500 by taking a picture of a derelict home in Oxford and submitting it via the website YouSpotProperty.com

The firm behind the website, which bought the property Corran noticed for £650,000, is run by developers Nick Kalms and Benjamin Radstone. They pay tip-offs 1 pc of the purchase if they buy the home.

The pair say they have paid up to £8,800 over the past five years for empty homes that they’ve redeveloped.

The firm currently accepts tip-offs in London, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, but is planning to expand into the Midlands and the North next year.
