1 PATTERN not plain. If you spill coffee, patterns are more forgiving. On plain clothes marks show and you see a faded white patch where it’s been scrubbed at.

2 I AM tidy so put everything away in the right place. I lay out boots and tights and, based on dress colour, check I’ve got black tights not blue or vice versa.

3 I ALWAYS have a tiny pot of salt in my bag so you can pep up bland food wherever you are.

4 I CAN’T live without my heated Dafni hairbrush (above) to straighten kinks. As I get older, I try to go two or three days without washing my hair. I like Olaplex and Kerastase treatments, too.

5 I MOSTLY wear shirt dresses. As I travel a lot — I don’t end up packing the wrong skirt with the wrong top.
