GB TO GET OLYMPIC BRONZES AT THE ANNIVERSARY GAMES

TEAM GB’S 400m relay team will get their bronze medals from the 2008 Beijing Olympics at the Anniversary Games in the London Stadium on July 9. Martyn Rooney, Andrew Steele, Robert Tabin and Michael Bingham were upgraded to bronze following Russia’s disqualification after retrospective testing of urine samples found one athlete used the banned steroid turinabol. This will take Team GB’s medal count from Beijing to 48.
