BENNELL’S 14 NEW CHARGES

BARRY BENNELL, the football coach accused of sexually abusing boys as young as 11, has appeared in court charged with 14 new offences. The 63-year-old now faces a total of 55 counts and will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on July 17. No plea was entered against the new charges and he was remanded in custody.
