Best of friends with Harry’s girls

THE gossip the sisters could spill on the Royal Family would be enough to unsettle the staunchest of courtiers. The girls count Harry’s ex, Chelsy Davy, as one of their closest friends. Irene (above left) is pictured at a party last year with Chelsy, (right) and another of Harry’s exes, Cressida Bonas (centre). Last month, Irene went to see Chelsy in her native South Africa. The sisters are also on hugging terms with Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice (whom Irene describes as ‘awesome’) and have heiresses Petra Palumbo — daughter of property baron Lord Palumbo — and Nicky Hilton Rothschild on speed dial. Not that they confine their social circle to the upper crust. Other famous pals include stars from reality television show Made In Chelsea and TV presenter Marissa Montgomery. But when their parents’ friends include tycoons, Gulf sheikhs and Valery Gergiev, top conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra, their wide social remit is no surprise.
