I thought it was very lovely that a member of Il Divo had turned up to support James Stunt at court. Then I realised — holy half-quavers! — it wasn’t a member of the ultra-groomed, operatic boyband at Stunt’s side. It was his lawyer, David Sherborne. Known as the David Dickinson of the legal circuit because of his towering bouffant and teak-hued complexion, the barrister was looking even nattier than usual. Did I detect a fresh application of Naughty Nutmeg hair rinse, complete with matching eyebrows? Or perhaps he just sheep-dips in a bath of Cuprinol before each case? Anyway, with yet another high-profile celebrity client about to become embroiled in the divorce case of the century, silky Sherborne is ready for his closeup and looking fab-u-lissimo.
