SamCam lives in million-pound-plus properties in the city and in the country. She comes from one of the nation’s richest families and she married a wealthy man.

She has never foraged behind the sofa for coins for the leccy meter, nor worried about buying the kids some new school shoes. So let’s get real. I like SamCam, but there is nothing worse than a rich and comfortable woman masquerading as a poor one. It is not just insulting to those who do scrimp and suffer. It makes her look foolish.
