RUSSIAN vending machine seller Uvenco soared yesterday after announcing a jump in revenue and profit last year.

The group reported a £421,000 profit for the nine months ended December 31, 2016, versus a £3.7m loss in the 12 months ended March 2016.

The firm – which sells and operates hot drink and snack vending machines around the world – put its impressive results down to the success of its ongoing turnaround plan.

Shares in Uvenco rose 17.6pc, or 0.75p, to 5p.
