Clarifications & corrections

Articles on December 17 and 20 2016 reported the critical reactions of individuals, including a UK MP, to the northern irish Director of Public Prosecution’s decision to prosecute ex-soldiers who served in northern ireland during the troubles. While the articles were not intended to adopt the reported criticisms – and included comments from Barra McGrory’s office – we are happy to make clear that Mr McGrory rejects the allegation that the decision was politically motivated.
