In a village in pre-World War I Germany, Burghart Klaussner is a pastor and disciplina­rian. ROMCOM FLICK Mr Right, 8pm, Sky Premiere ANNA KENDRICK is the unlucky-in-love girl who doesn’t score any better when she falls for Sam Rockwell’s hit man. The twist is that Rockwell’s shooter kills the people who hire him. DARKEST REAL-LIFE Little Boy Blue, 9pm, ITV Encore IN 2007, while returning home from football practice in Liverpool, 11-year-old Rhys Jones was shot dead. Made with his family’s cooperatio­n, this heartbreak­ing, fact-based four-part drama follows the investigat­ion, and stars Stephen Graham (pictured). REALITY NEWBIE Binky & JP’s Baby: Born In Chelsea, 9pm, E4 THE first of two new specials following the on-off Made In Chelsea couple, who were actually ‘off’ when Binky learned she was pregnant — they’ve since got back together. It’s hard to envy the experience of becoming first-time parents on reality TV, but Binky in particular is a sensible sort . . . NEW MOVIE The Call Up, 9.45pm, Sky Premiere ACTION horror about a group of volunteer gamers who get an all too real immersive experience. Yes, when you die in the game, you die in real life. A simple idea, well-executed. HOLMES ABROAD Elementary, 10pm, Pick AS THE first season of this slick U.S. take on the Holmes stories nears its end, Natalie Dormer appears as ‘that woman’ — Irene Adler, she who is legendaril­y irresistib­le to the great detective. In this version of the Holmes stories, she is also thought to be dead — but Moriarty has promised Holmes answers about his great love’s death. LIFE & MOTION The Secret Life Of Waves, 11pm, BBC4 PARTWAY between science and poetry in its language, this elegant documentar­y explores the nature of waves — in particular, the curious notion that they aren’t made of water. David Malone’s film is a slow-burner, but it is also absolutely fascinatin­g.
