Playing at 4 months pregnant

IF Andy Murray’s pregnant wife Kim had sympathy for anyone yesterday it would have been Luxembourg’s Mandy Minella.

She played her first round match yesterday... and she is four-and-ahalf months pregnant.

The 31-year-old, who married her coach Tim Sommer in 201 , revealed she was expecting her first child after losing her first round tie to Italian Francesca Schiavone in straight sets.

Her small bump was just about visible under her loose-fitting smock dress.

But her tournament isn’t over yet, as the world number 82 is due to play in the doubles with Anastasija Sevastova, from Latvia, later in the week.
