NEWCASTLE UNITED are talking to counter-terrorism experts over the proposal to close roads around St James’ Park due to fears of a vehicle-based terror attack. Thousands of fans bring traffic to a halt on Strawberry Place — which runs behind the Gallowgate End — on matchdays, but may be closed after recent attacks in which vehicles have been used to drive into crowds.
