Barry Norman’s pickled posterity

-

Barry norman has sadly passed — but his pickled onions will live on.

William opie, who helped commercialise the film critic’s passion for the homemade treats, said: ‘Barry’s Pickled onions have a loyal following amongst aficionados and are often referred to as “the only pickled onion with a homemade flavour”.’

Norman’s daughters, Samantha and Emma, have inherited the bug. ‘The family recipe has now been passed to the next generation, to Barry’s daughters, and we will continue to produce the onions on their behalf to create a long-lasting legacy to Barry,’ opie promises.
