ALJAZ BEDENE had a rather harder road to the second round than Damir Dzumhur, whom he faces second on Court No 3. Bedene (right) needed four-and-a-half hours to beat Ivo Karlovic, but Dzumhur saw off Renzo Olivo in one hour and 15 minutes. But the British No 3 has a great chance of reaching the third round for the first time against Bosnia’s world No 83.
