There’s a lot of fun to be had seeing the sights and sounds of this century anew, from Claire’s perspective, in part two of the fine, time-hopping Scottish romance. But is there a way home?
LAW ENFORCEMENT Chicago PD, 9pm, 5 USA
VOIGHT (Jason Beghe, pictured below left with Jesse Spencer) is back at work as the new, fourth season begins, and he’s filled with rage at his son’s death. He has no remorse over what happened to his son’s killer — but the same can’t be said for Lindsay, one of Voight’s few allies. This emotionally explosive opener is written by show co-creator Matt Olmstead (NYPD Blue).
CIA THRILLER Quantico, 9pm, Alibi
FOR the past few episodes, this show has teased Alex and Owen as a couple — and now they’re working closer than ever, on an undercover mission into the lion’s den. It turns out to be quite the thrill ride as Alex (Priyanka Chopra, pictured) poses, very effectively, as one of the bad guys, while also trying to stop their plan.
KILLER INSECTS Mosquito, 9pm, Discovery
TO MOSQUITOES, humans are just one big food source, spreading helpfully across the planet, creating more convenient environments for the insects to breed as they go. Jeremy Renner narrates this unsettling new look at how these well-adapted creatures spread disease and what can be done to stop them.

NOW the plot is in sharper focus, Sky’s stiff but glamorous thriller is becoming easier to watch. What was the meaning of the file Georgina (Julia Stiles) found? Was it a sign that her dead husband wanted to protect her or an example of just how deeply he betrayed her?

NETFLIX has expanded its already considerable selection of stand-up comedy with six halfhour sets from LA. The sharpest of the crop are Beth Stelling, Dan Soder and Nate Bargatze.
