KING FINED £2,000 OVER YANWORTH SHAME
Trainer Alan King has been fined £2,000 by the British horseracing Authority over yanworth’s failed drugs test following the Champion hurdle. The seven-year-old gelding, favourite for the Cheltenham race in which he finished seventh, tested positive for triamcinolone acetonide, an anti-inflammatory which can be legitimately used but is banned on race day.
