Snake charmer! Agile Liz, 52, tells of close call with a reptile

MANY mothers of teenage sons struggle to encourage them to spend some quality time together.

But Liz Hurley managed to enlist the help of her 15-year-old son Damian for a photoshoot in their back garden over the weekend, with him behind the lens.

And it seems their strong bond goes back to when he was a baby – as the actress revealed she once killed a snake for him. She told the Sunday Mirror she ‘cut its head off with an axe’ when she saw it near his Moses basket while they were in Spain, adding: ‘Note to others: Never get between a lioness and her cubs.’ Miss Hurley often shares loving photographs of herself with Damian, her only child, on Instagram.

The teenager, who attends Wellington College – where fees start at £28,000 a year – also regularly proudly posts pictures online of his home life. In the latest demonstration of their close relationship, Damian, who is a keen photographer, snapped away as the 52-year-old star showed off her impressive figure by performing an energetic yoga pose in a skimpy red bikini.

She then posted the photo on Instagram with the caption ‘Happy Saturday #Herefordshire’, implying they were at their £6million mansion in Ledbury.
