BRITS OF THE DAY

IN the first match of the day on Court No 14, the wild ride that is Marcus Willis and Jay Clarke’s men’s doubles campaign continues against No 16 seeds Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic. In the first round, the British pair came back from two sets to love down. In the second, they stunned defending champions Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert. For 18-year-old Clarke, this is his first appearance at Wimbledon. For Willis, this is a wonderful follow-up to his adventure against Roger Federer on Centre Court last year.
