ARSENAL are increasing­ly sure Alex Oxlade-Chamberlai­n will stay at the club this summer. The 23-year-old has drawn interest from Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City. His contract expires in 11 months but, despite snubbing improved terms, he has travelled to Australia with the rest of the squad and Arsenal are hopeful an agreement that would see the midfielder extend his six–year stay at the club will be reached. Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is hoping to finalise his move to Juventus this week for around £13million.

JOE HART will stay in Manchester when City fly to the US as he seeks a move. West Ham and

Newcastle are among the clubs chasing a loan, but Hart prefers a permanent deal, with City valuing him at £18m.

RAFA BENITEZ is growing increasing­ly frustrated with Newcastle’s lack of progress in the transfer market.
