SALAH DEBUT HIT BY WORK PERMIT HITCH
LIVERPOOL signing Mohamed Salah has been ruled out of the club’s first pre-season friendly at Tranmere tonight because of a work permit problem. The Egypt international, a £34.3million arrival from Roma, began training at Melwood last Saturday. However, standard immigration procedure requires Salah (below) to leave the country and then return. ‘Because of the rules we have to go to Paris and leave him there for a day or two and then he’ll come back,’ manager Jurgen Klopp told liverpoolfc.com.
