ON THE BOARD

RECRUITER Hays has added a former executive from catering firm Compass to its board.

Andrew Martin has been appointed as a non-executive director and member of Hays’ remuneration committee. Until 2015, Martin was group chief operating officer, Europe and Japan at Compass Group.

He also held finance roles at First Choice Holidays and Granada Group. Susan Murray, who was chief executive of Littlewoods until 2003, will also join the board as a nonexecutive director.
