DESPITE his hip injury, Andy Murray was still able to contest an astonishing 18-shot rally in the penultimate game of the fifth set. The world No 1 twice scampered to return dinks over the net by Sam Querrey but the giant American eventually triumphed to break Murray and take a 5-1 lead en route to his shock victory.
