IT was their turn in the Royal Box and Dame Maggie Smith and Sir Ian McKellen didn’t want to miss a thing. So the British stars shared a pair of binoculars to keep an eye on Andy Murray as he struggled in his five-set match yesterday. Dame Maggie, who played Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter movies, and Sir Ian, who played Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings series, must have wished they could magic up a better result.
