Something to do with hormones being affected by dust particles in the air, apparently. Really? Might it not simply be that people who can’t be bothered with housework are more likely to sit on their backsides all day, stuffing their faces with cakes. This research also goes against the findings of the fabulous Fat Fighters sketch in Little Britain. According to ‘nutritioni­st’ Marjorie Dawes, dust is a low-fat food and you can eat as much as you like. Dust! Anybody? No? Dust!
