Apple pairs with EE

-

MOBILE operator EE is planning to open 100 new stores across the UK after signing a deal with Sainsbury’s and Argos.

It also announced a deal to give customers free access to Apple’s streaming service Apple Music without using their data allowance.

BT- owned EE said that the ‘stores within stores’ aimed to reach more customers on the High Street as rivals reduced their presence. It will mean it has almost 700 stores in the UK, with the new ones open by the end of 2019.

Apple Music normally costs £9.99 a month but it is trying to attract more customers in a bid to catch rival Spotify.
