CAMPAIGN group Lewes Progressives hold a protest in the centre of town featuring people dressed up as nuns from The Sound Of Music and young children chanting: ‘How do you solve a problem like Maria? Get her out.’ Maria, a Roman Catholic, describes the march as her ‘lowest point’. ‘To see those young children chanting against me when I hadn’t done anything personally to them — how can people stir up such hatred?’
