INVESTORS cheered cybersecur­ity company Osirium after it secured its first distributi­on for Germany, Austria and Switzerlan­d.

The firm, which makes software to protect IT systems, signed an agreement with Ectacom Gmbh which it hopes will build its presence in the region. Osirium has already announced partnershi­ps in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia Pacific in a bid to sell its products around the world.

Yesterday shares rose 3pc, or 3p, to 101.5p.
