WITH Jeremy Corbyn’s paymasters mobilising for a ‘summer of discontent’, trades union baron Len McCluskey has reason to feel very satisfied.

-

The hard-Left Unite boss, 67 next weekend, enjoyed a pay rise to £100,000 last year — including £7,700 to cover the cost of his luxurious London flat. Unite’s newly released annual return discloses that McCluskey’s pay package increased by 4 per cent, quadruple the rise given to public sector workers. The deal includes £7,700 in housing ‘ benefit’ for the first time, which follows the union lending him £413,700 to buy a £700,000 flat in Borough, by the Thames. His basic pay was £74,802, but was boosted by benefits, plus £3,491 for car costs. He also had £4,504 paid into his pension pot and £9,203 went in NI contributions. Nothing’s too good for the workers!
