Is hand washing ageing my skin?

LIQUID hand wash can dry the skin if it’s too harsh. Chloe Lupton, founder of Bramley products, advises choosing a naturally derived base that doesn’t strip your hands of natural oils, leaving skin dry and cracked, or sore. ‘Look at the ingredients — some have artificial fragrances containing alcohol, which dries out the skin. Instead, look for natural fragrances such as essential oils,’ she suggests. Noble Isle Golden Harvest Hand Wash (£18, Liberty and nobleisle.com) is another good choice. It contains antioxidant and anti-ageing grape extract.
