NADIYA’S BRITISH FOOD ADVENTURE, 8.30PM, BBC2

NADIYA HUSSAIN, winner of Great British Bake Off in 2015, likes to experiment with new flav flavours and ingredients to keep her food exciting. In this eight-part series, she travels around the country to meet the fishermen, farmers, chefs and producers who ‘go the extra mile’ to make ‘British food some of the best in the world’. She begins in the Home Counties, learning about food smoking in Milton Keynes and asparagus farming in Oxford — with Imogen Stanley (pictured with Nadiya) — and rustling up cheese scones, vegetable stir fry and smoked haddock rarebit.
